Leading the way in our utility and infrastructure projects is Todd Spacek, an industry veteran with nearly 30 years of district energy experience. Todd's journey began in Urbana, Illinois, where he honed his skills as a contractor specializing in tunnel steam fitting for the University of Illinois. Since then, he has successfully led numerous campus utilities projects at over 10 universities and state institutions, totaling more than 30 projects.

One of Todd's notable achievements includes overseeing a massive district energy project at Western Illinois University, involving the installation of 2 miles of new steam tunnels with new piping across 29 phases that affected the entire campus. This project also included the integration of SCADA and Allen Bradley PLCs for coal fire boiler plant upgrades, showcasing Todd's proficiency in implementing cutting-edge technology.

More recently, Todd has led a district energy project with the University of Wyoming, aligning with the core objectives of our current endeavor. This project involved extending hot water lines to buildings and converting them from steam to hot water systems. Additionally, it included significant plant work, such as the integration of new boilers and advanced control systems, demonstrating Todd's ability to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.
